On April 17, 1952, President Harry Truman signed a bill proclaiming the National Day of Prayer into law in the United States. This is the 70th year in which we are richly blessed to have a law that proclaims a day of prayer for our nation. This is a call for the people of God to come together to pray for concerns in our families, our community, and our country. We believe through prayer God will heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Our 2021 National Day of Prayer theme is, LORD, pour out your LOVE, LIFE, and LIBERTY. Let’s pray and proclaim the promise of God in our theme verse found in 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
