Christmas at LFA

Prince of Peace

December 5, 12, 19, & 24

Who offers true PEACE in a time of conflict and confusion,

absolute TRUTH in the face of undisguised deceit,

and glorious HOPE in the midst of bleak despair?

He has many names given him in the Bible and he is deserving of each of them. One of those names seems to ring out like a crisp, clear Christmas bell on a quiet, December evening.

Prince of Peace!

This time of year, the many needs of our church family and community tend to come into clearer view and can seem overwhelming. We can rest assured the One called Prince of Peace is able to meet every single need.

This Christmas at LFA, our focus is on Jesus, our Prince of Peace!

In Isaiah 61:3, we discover that God stands ready to make a glorious exchange, which almost seems too good to be true. Isaiah says:

“…He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair.”

This sounds a little like Christmas doesn’t it? We don’t have anything of value to offer God, yet he gives to us unthinkable gifts; the greatest of which is his Son Jesus.

We invite you to join us this December 5, 12, 19, and 24, as we encounter the hope, peace, love, and joy of Jesus, our Prince of Peace!
