Pastor Don & Linda Barnes

Senior Pastor

Don and Linda Barnes embrace the way of Jesus with every fiber of their beings! Pastor Don grew up in Lawton, attending Lawton First Assembly until he went to college. He served Lawton First Assembly from 1991 to 1998 as Associate Pastor and 1999 to present as Senior Pastor. Pastor Don has a passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he meets—going beyond the walls of the church to the community, the state, the nation, and the world. Linda has a passion to minister to children, especially preschoolers! Their family includes their son and daughter and six grandchildren. 

Pastors Gary & Debbie Pratt

Executive Assoc. Pastor/Pastoral Care & Women's Ministry

Gary and Debbie Pratt have been at LFA since 1985. They have been married for 38 years and have three married children and five grandchildren. Pastor Gary directs LFA Compassion Ministries and the NAME Center—a ministry that offers free marriage coaching. Debbie serves in pastoral care and women’s ministry. In 2010, Debbie was diagnosed with cancer. Out of her experience she established the Trusting Journey, enabling her to share her spiritual journey and practical experiences to encourage others to navigate with faith during difficult times. 

Pastor Greg & Denice Erway

Executive Worship Arts Pastor

Greg and Denice have worked together in ministry for more than 30 years. They came to LFA with their three small children in 2003 and immediately began working with the LFA staff to find creative ways to enhance the dynamic ministries at LFA. They are grateful that God provided an environment where they have the freedom to use creativity in ministry. Greg enjoys leading worship, guiding the creative process at LFA, and working with serve teams in effective ministry. His passion is involving people in ministry, providing opportunities for them to grow in skill and use their God-given gifts to bless the church.

Pastor David & Jennifer Hubbard

Executive Community Life Pastor

David and Jennifer Hubbard joined the LFA team in May of 2016. Previously, David served 10 years with Teen Challenge of Oklahoma, five of which David served as the Executive Director of Sonrise Ranch. Both David and Jennifer were raised in Lawton and count it a great blessing to serve the Lord in their hometown. They have a remarkable testimony as to the transforming power of Christ and love sharing Christ's love and life-changing grace with the world. Together David and Jennifer have four children. 

Pastor Greg & Paula Ruple

Kids Pastor

Greg and Paula have enjoyed serving together in ministry since 1998. They are the proud parents of three amazing children. They joined the LFA family in 2007 and are so thankful to work with children in the Lawton-Fort Sill community. Together, Greg and Paula enjoy creating opportunities for children to feel God’s love and encourage families to be Christ-centered. Greg enjoys golfing, paintball and Ohio State football.

Pastor Lacey & Josh Gardner

Early Childhood Pastor

Lacey has been our Early Childhood pastor since May 2007. After earning her bachelor’s degree in children’s ministry from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, she moved to Lawton to join the LFA team. On November 16, 2013, Lacey married Josh Gardner and instantly became “Lulu” to two precious young girls. They've added a sweet baby girl and a baby boy to their family since then. Lacey enjoys spending time with her family and loves to bake! Her passion is equipping serve teams to teach children the Word of God at a young age so they can hide it in their hearts forever. 

Trevor Trevino

Interim Youth Pastor

Trevor came to Lawton First Assembly as the inaugural student of the LFA College of Leadership in September of 2021. He originates from Fresno, California, and moved to Lawton to gain a better understanding of church ministry. In December of 2021, Trevor stepped into the role of leading the youth ministry. He loves connecting with students, having a cup of coffee with them, and enjoys playing keys on Sunday mornings.
